i had an awesome time with my dear bff laila! she is the best tour guide for this kingdom and i am so glad she brought me along.
initally cambodia was a bit tough for me especially since i am used to just Not walking heheh. but over there its walk and walk and fyi the sun there is very hot but the air is very dry so once there is a breeze or wind it is actually cool! over here in singapore however.... the sun is bright and the air is terribly wet and hot, so breeze or no breeze its still warm.
first day was spent in phnom penh their capital. i didn't like it and it kinda draggged my mood down a little cause it was very hot, crowded, busy and i didnt have shades or hat so it made me more grumpy and tired.
we went to have lunch at her favourite restaurant happy herbs pizza and apparently there was 'special' herbs in the pizza that will make u happier titled marijuana. i didn't know till we ate it again like 7 days after with the gang we met there. and no there was no effect on me after eating it. just fuller after the meal that's all.
i bought a pair of shades from a peddler in the restaurant and later walked some more in pp. we went down to the russian market to shop and i got my hat. so naturally that makes me a happier lady so i wasnt that grumpy later that day with my hat and shades on.
this part was amazing. there are like MANY MANY pigeons in front of this palace so when the whole flock flew, the view is just WOW. like wow. it was so enthralling. we took a video of the flock circling in front of the palace. lai has yet to upload it so we shall see!day 2! sihanoukville. my favourite place in cambodia.
we stayed a night at don bosco hotel school where lai used to volunteer as a teacher. pretty pool they have in which 
we dipped in at night for a while.i met channsy oppa after that! he met lai when she was in cambodia the previous time and he brought us around which i really appreciated!
i was on the motorbike for the first time and dammmm it was FUN! HAHAHAHA
saw alot of cows on the street. they are like everywhere and their cows are WHITE. almost all are white except for this brown one here. white cows are pretty. to me. hehe
i love the wind rush when on the motorbike.
and then it was sunset.
this is the first time i met raksmey and she is such a kind person. we waited for her to be less busy before having dinner together.
then it was back to school again before me and lai head out with 2 other teachers at don bosco for a drink!day 3! more exploring of the island with channsy oppa before meeting the others!

this is the best beach i've been to so far. Sokha beach. most locals won't be able to get in as it is private and only for the guests that stay by the hotel there. owned by a very very rich person, the water and sand is very very very clean as compared to the other beaches. we din stay there but because channsy oppa is there we dun have to worry about how to get in! hehehe
and then at night, that's when i met the other wonderful friends! the koreans and paul!lai was planning on a surprise for him so there's the cake and baileys we got!
chilled out later at night with just paul and channsy at a bar by the beach and gosh there were schools of little fishes so i just had to go down and take a look.
day 4! the day i got food poisoning at night. =/
this is another beach that lai brought me to in sihanoukville. Otres beach is as beautiful and i am missing it already. unlike the muddy milky waters u get at sentosa, their beach is so much better!!
i believe you can get similar beach elsewhere but cambodia is not a very very popular tourist spot yet, so as compared to phuket and maldives, i believe its still more of the 'untouched'. Otres beach where i took this photo is one of the less crowded one. quiet and very peaceful except when the sisters come around asking you to buy their stuff or get a foot massage....blah blah.... therefore Sokha beach which is private is still my FAVOURITEST.
we walked around on the stones before reaching otres and took some photos.

me and lai went to chill out at occhuteal beach later and this is evidence of the food poisoning of tyris.yeah perhaps i had too much of it therefore i did the merlion at night in the guest house and day 5 was just mere sleeping and resting for me.

after the reallly terrible merlion action and fever, i managed to get out of bed and went to their night market opening.
had fun making ice cream cones at gelato italiano thanks to raksmey!yes i look very very slack. after that we took the night bus at around 7.30pm to Siem Reap to start another whole new adventure.
note to lai: so sorry lai i didn't celebrate with you much on day 5 which is 1st nov your very big 21 birthday. very bad timing to have ate some really terrible stuff and thanks so much for taking care of me! i love you many many forever and ever!
